On Senate floor, Walsh talks about nursing bill, furor

On April 23, Sen. Maureen Walsh, R-Walla Walla, rose to a “point of personal privilege” on the Senate floor, to discuss House Bill 1155 and public reaction to remarks made on the floor last week. To see video of speech, click here.

Walsh spoke during the Senate’s final debate on HB 1155. The final votes on the bill were 32-16 in the Senate and 70-24 in the House. The bill now awaits the governor’s signature.
